I was contacted via text (from 234-401-0462) about my resume having been reviewed and moved forward to the hiring manager vis MWE (Maryland Workforce Exchange). Asking which position I was interested in and that I would be interviewing via Google Hangouts. I have interviewed On Google Hangouts before so I thought nothing of it. I added the contact email address ([email protected]) for the interview. I was contacted right away. I thought it would be via video but the video was never requested. She asked me a series of questions, like name address, number, military background, employment questions and who I banked with. I answered her question, she asked me to wait while she discussed my information with the directors and that she would get back to me. It took about 20 minutes, she told me I was hired, my wages and that I would receive a check in the mail to purchase supplies and to only use the supplier she gives me to make the online supply purchase. She asked me to repeat to her what I was to do with the check funds and that there would $150 deducted for the start up home fee. I repeat her instructions, she told me good, to not interview with anyone else and to log in to speak with her 9/10/16 at 8 am to begin working.
