Cleveland Public Power

A local company received a call from a gentleman claiming to be a representative of Cleveland Public Power. They had the business account number and were told they were delinquent on their acct. and needed to pay today or the electricity would be shut off. They asked for payment by a prepaid debit card or a Rite Aid Green Money Pack Card. The owner did not fall for this as they were told they had to pay with a prepaid debit card or gift cards and the owner assumed that this was a scam. They also provided the company with a phone number to call them back at, which was an international number, 11800098848. The gentleman spoke heavily accented English and was difficult to understand.
