Covered Contracting LLC

I was contacted via email by a James Hamlin claiming to have found my resume on the job search website Indeed. His notification did not come directly from Indeed, which I found a bit odd. I also did not find this position posted on the Indeed website and did not apply for it. The job described was as a personal assistant to him, running errands, sending out emails to clients and keeping his itinerary updated as he traveled out of the country extensively. The job would pay $500 a week. I replied once to confirm my address and phone number. Then three days later he sent me a second email requesting my bank routing and account numbers to have my pay directly deposited. THAT was the warning sign that stopped me cold. I emailed him back, stating that I had already accepted another posting, and "apologized" for any inconvenience. Thankfully, I have not heard from them since. The company name is Covered Contracting LLC. The email comes from [email protected] Do NOT give them any information!
