The individual contacted me in reference to my vehicle listed on craigslist. Said he had trouble receiving email from Craigslist and that it was unreliable. Asked me to contact him outside of Craigslist. I used an email address that I rarely use to send a brief reply and received an auto reply with a recommendation to purchase a car report from a site other than Carfax. I looked up the site on Google and came across your suggestion that it was likely a scam. Here is the information I received:Hello. Does it have any problems with it? Been in any accidents? I am interested in talking to you, but Craigslist messages are not always reliable with going through! Please message me direct at-DanCraw47[at-gmail-com]That is the best way to contact me. Thanks! – DanHere was my response:————————————————————————Original craigslist post:************************************************** Hi Dan,I am writing back about your interest in my 4Runner.I did reply to the messages through Craigslist. I haven’t had any trouble with receiving the emails from Craigslist. The vehicle was in a fender bender that didn’t have any visible damage. A car clipped the right rear bumper. I had the bumper replaced so the sensors wouldn’t have any issues. No mechanical issues whatsoever. It has been serviced by the dealership on its scheduled routine maintenance.Thank you for your interest,****** Here is the auto reply received:Hello, I was reaching out to you about your vehicle for sale. Do you have a current vehicle history report for it? If not, I suggest getting one at:www.vehiclecheck.reportWhen I was selling my vehicle I got one from there to show people that were interested. It was only $19 which is half the cost of Carfax($40 or more). It will show if there are any issues with it. The peace of mind it gives for such a large sale is a bonus too.It will verify that it has not been in any bad accidents, that it has a clean title and that it has not been stolen. There are so many scams out there. People are more likely to look at it with a report provided – it will definitely help with the sale.Let me know if this helps. Thanks!

Yes it is. Based on the user review published on PropertyFraud.com, it is strongly advised to avoid DanCraw47[at-gmail-com] in any dealing and transaction.
Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from DanCraw47[at-gmail-com]. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike PropertyFraud.com, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
DanCraw47[at-gmail-com] is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
