East Gift Service, LLC

I am in the process of looking for work and I have added my email to over 20 job sites. I got an email from a company called East Gift Service for a work-at-home job of the position of Junior Inspector. The job description:1) Picking up the packages ordered by our managers: they are shipped to your home address by UPS, USPS & Fedex, so you don’t have to travel to pick them up elsewhere.2) Inspecting the received packages for any damage, misplacement or inconsistencies. If there are any, you should fill out a report and submit it to your superior.3) Consolidating and repacking the packages, if needed. The company covers the cost of extra packaging materials.4) Finally, forwarding the packages to the customers. All items must be delivered to customers no later than in 24 hours upon their receipt: in this case you won’t need any additional room to store them. The company also provides pre-paid shipping labels as well as covers any travel expenses, if you need to drive to the nearest post office. An application was sent to be filled out and sent back by email but it did not have a contact address or number.I researched the company online, East Gift Service, and see that it is a gift wrapping company but none of the pictures of the employees have the name on the email. I called the number given on the website but could only leave a message.I am not sure if this is a scam but I though I’d report it so that an investigation can be done to see if it is.
