eBay Protection Plan

[email protected] posted an ad for a Polaris Ranger UTV on Craigslist. The ad indicated she was in the military, Ft. Belvoir in Virginia. I responded to the ad. She told me to use eBay Protection plan to pay for it. These people made their transaction seem so seamless because it looks identical to a"real" ebay purchase! We loaded the ebay cards for 2,500, 1,500, 1,000 for the insurance for the one purchase, and $500.00 dollars for the second purchase. I read the security numbers off the back of the card to Diane, who was acting like she was with the shipping company. I filed a complaint online w/the FBI, I contacted the Ohio attorney general’s office, this is absolutely ridiculous and I feel ebay should be held responsible! This is a felony since it is over $5,000 Shirley S Neal was another name they used.

Yes it is. Based on the user review published on PropertyFraud.com, it is strongly advised to avoid eBay Protection Plan in any dealing and transaction.
Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from eBay Protection Plan. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike PropertyFraud.com, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
eBay Protection Plan is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
