Florida Vacation Rentals

Craigslist posting for vacation rental at 2130 S Peninsula Dr Daytona Beach , FL 32118All communication was by messenger, email and once by phone after I insisted that I needed to talk to a person. Their written English was good but the spoken English was rough. The person I spoke to claimed to be the owner of the house in South Carolina and had property managers who look after the house which we could supposedly contact at any time by text. The number goes to Google voicemail account to leave a message as does the original posting. We needed to move out of our current rental and get into a new one quickly and fell for this. We paid the deposit of $300 by PayPal and a cash bank transfer of $900. We still owed them $528 which we didn’t pay. So we are out $1200. they promised after my phone call to refund my money if I wasn’t happy. They keep cancelling the PayPal money transfer request for $1200. (we tried the $300 too) Buyer beware.

Yes it is. Based on the user review published on PropertyFraud.com, it is strongly advised to avoid Florida Vacation Rentals in any dealing and transaction.
Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Florida Vacation Rentals. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike PropertyFraud.com, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
Florida Vacation Rentals is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
