So, I took the quiz to “win a free Gilmore girls T-shirt” from “Forever Gilmore” on Facebook. The quiz takes you to a page to pick your free shirt “only pay shipping charge of $9.99). You enter your shipping address and credit card Information and it doesn’t bring you to a confirmation page. The next page it brings you to is to ask if you want to be one of the 11 people left to get an exclusive T-shirt. There’s no button on the page to say no it only says click here” or “next” so you click on next and it brings you to another page of stickers and the same thing happens except when you try to click on “next no” this time it freezes. So you reload the page and you end up on a confirmation page/invoice page that shows you authorized 2 separate items, 2 separate shipping amounts, and a “handling” charge. It automatically emails you a order confirmation. So on their site on cancellation all it says is to email support but that there’s no way to cancel an order really but you can contact them to ship it back once you receive it. It is set up to add stuff onto orders without the final decision made to the cardholder. There’s no page to show what is the price and then no agreement to put any charges through. The company adds extra items, extra shipping charges and extra handling charges. They then have no phone number for customer support only an email that doesn’t do anything but say you will be contacted but it doesn’t say when or how. And the terms of cancellations and returns basically states that there’s no way of canceling an order but you can ship it back..so you loose the $9.99 per item shipping, the $3 handling charge (which is not posted anywhere except after you are charged for it), and then you have to pay shipping to ship it back (I’m assuming). I can’t even put a dispute in through my bank account because it hasn’t “posted” yet..it’s still “pending” but according to the banker it has already been authorized. So, we’ll see when they actually “post” the charge but my guess would be it doesn’t post until they actually ship it out so there’s no way of stopping it and now way of contacting them. And on my bank account it shows 2 separate orders which makes no sense because neither were put through and the second item you didn’t pick a color or size or shipping address-nothing- they just picked something for you. But the charge states: “We Love Stars Ho 888-2831217 NY 00010006” so I look up the 10 digits online and it’s a phone number for “WeLoveStarsHollow.com.” I tried calling the number and it’s a constant busy signal. I tried emailing the contact on that website and it was returned undeliverable. My guess is that was the first website they had and once too many complaints were filed they made up the “ForeverGilmore.com” one-which is the one I was on through a Facebook ad.
