I bought a Groupon for Forever Vent last year. I called the number on the voucher and set an appointment. I had to take off from work to be home for the company come clean my vents. After waiting an hour I called the same number and the woman on the phone said my appointment wasn’t until the following week. When I said I had verified the date and time she became argumentative. I had my appointment rescheduled. When the technician came out he cleaned the return vent in my living room. He showed me how much dust he had gotten. He then walked around and told me my vents look to have never been cleaned before. He wouldn’t honor my Groupon but my system needed to be cleaned. I was charged for additional returns and so much more. The additional vents are behind furniture so I know they were never cleaned. He went outside and I had my garage door open since this is the access point to my system. Before he arrived I moved my trash can next to my car seat from the door to the utility closet. When he left the trash can was in the same location. There would be no way to get to the utility closet from outside without moving it. When it came time for the bill he wanted $595 which included a metal filter. He would only accept cash or check. He said he was the owner and to make the check out to him. I said couldn’t afford the filter which wasn’t discussed. He seemed very concerned since my son has allergies and said if I get on Groupon and give them a good review he’ll order one for me at no charge. Total I was out $475 plus the $99 for the Groupon. Fast forward to now and I had a different company come and they stayed my system has never been cleaned. This technician showed my son what he was talking about. Also, there was no access port into the trunkline to attach the equipment. Everything this technician told me was exactly what they have on their website. I can also tell a difference this time.
