GoFundMe – Imposter

I was contacted via Facebook Messenger by who I thought was a friend. Person had hacked my friend’s account. They are claiming that they received a check from GoFundMe from some national drive and said they saw my name on some winners list. They claimed they had received $65,000 and gave me a phone number and email address to contact and asked for my full name and email address.I then texted my friends outside of Messenger and asked for confirmation that I was speaking to her on Messenger. I was not, she said she had been hacked only moments before.I did not take this any further and am reporting it.

Yes it is. Based on the user review published on PropertyFraud.com, it is strongly advised to avoid GoFundMe – Imposter in any dealing and transaction.
Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from GoFundMe – Imposter. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike PropertyFraud.com, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
GoFundMe – Imposter is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
