I was job hunting online and found an add for a postal clerk position in my town. I clicked the link intending to apply, and noticed that the pay per hour seemed a little higher than I expected. That felt like a bit of a red flag.I scrolled through, and at the bottom of the page was a place to order a registration kit for $48.00 and a promise that if you are not hired within so many days, you’d get double your money back. That was the second red flag.I was suspicious. So I went to my local post office and spoke directly to an employee. Her first words, before we ever got to the "registration kit" were, "that doesn’t look like our site".Red flag number three. So, clearly, we confirmed that this was a scam. The site looks very official, with only those few little details that appear to be "off".I don’t know if you can shut down the site, but they even have what is trying to look like a seal of approval. It’s good enough that, if someone doesn’t know enough to tell the difference, it could fool someone. Please see what can be done about this site. And, if possible, remove it from job search sites. Here is their site address one more
