Icon Consulting

A pop up came up saying my computer was at risk. It showed it was from Microsoft Edge and it had the phone number 1-888-370-0333 to call for Tech Support. I could not get the pop up off my computer even using task manager. I called the number. I should have googled it first because it would have told me it was a scam. They take access of your computer to detect the problem. They should you that others have accessed your computer and you are the Alureon virus. Then they say the can fix it because you have Microsoft protection on your computer. I let them "fix it". They charged me $150. They had access to my computer and back account information. I figured it out in time to close everything and freeze my credit. But this is a nasty scam and they make it seem so real. Feel stupid that I fell for it.

Yes it is. Based on the user review published on PropertyFraud.com, it is strongly advised to avoid Icon Consulting in any dealing and transaction.
Not really. In spite of the review published here, there has been no response from Icon Consulting. Lack of accountability is a major factor in determining trust.
Because unlike PropertyFraud.com, other websites get paid to remove negative reviews and replace them with fake positive ones.
Icon Consulting is rated 1 out of 5 based on the reviews submitted by our users and is marked as POOR.
Never trust websites which offer a shady ‘advocacy package’ to businesses. Search for relevant reviews on Ripoff Report and Pissed Consumer to see more unbiased reviews.
